Solution 02

Electronic Health Management

Health record systems built for the wards they'll serve — localized, resilient, and deployed on site with the people who will run them.

Overview

Records systems that survive the real world.

A hospital information system is only as good as its worst day: a power cut, a staff change, a records dispute. We build on proven open platforms — principally OpenEMR — and extend them with the modules, billing logic and recovery engineering each institution actually needs, in the languages its staff actually speak.

  • 01
Platform deployment & customization OpenEMR and open health platforms installed, configured and adapted to the institution's clinical and administrative workflows.
  • 02
Custom module development Purpose-built modules for workflows stock systems don't cover — from mortuary management to departmental billing.
  • 03
Disaster recovery engineering Multiple independent recovery paths, documented and drill-tested, so no single failure can take the record system down for good.
  • 04
Localization & on-site training Fully bilingual interfaces and hands-on training delivered in person, so the system is owned by its staff, not its vendor.

Hôpital Public de Référence Secondaire de Kinkanda

A complete morgue management and billing system delivered for a public referral hospital. The engagement covered the full lifecycle: requirements gathered on the ward, custom development, deployment on site, staff training, and disaster recovery drills completed before handover.

  • Custom morgue management workflow — admissions, storage tracking and release, built into the hospital's record system.
  • Tiered billing automation with category-based pricing, generating correct invoices without manual calculation.
  • Fully bilingual French/English interface, switchable per user.
  • Disaster recovery designed in from the start, documented and proven by live drills, so the hospital does not lose its records.
  • On-site deployment and hands-on training for hospital staff in Matadi, built to keep working in real, low-connectivity field conditions.

Team expertise

Who stands behind this work.

Our technical lead architected and built the Kinkanda deployment end to end, from patient records and billing automation through its disaster recovery engineering. That work — and the field lessons behind it — anchors every EHR engagement we take.
